Whiteboard
Whiteboard is a shared task board built by Football Studio for coaching staffs. This policy explains what information the app collects, how it's used, and the choices you have.
When you sign in, we collect your name, email address, and school affiliation. As you use the app, you enter task data such as titles, descriptions, due dates, priorities, and statuses, along with the staff member or group each task is assigned to. Tasks also keep a history log recording who created a task and who changed its status or assignment, and when.
We collect basic technical information needed to operate the app and diagnose problems — such as device type, OS version, and app crash or error logs. We do not use this information for advertising or behavioral tracking.
If you allow notifications, your device gives us an Apple-issued device token, which we store alongside your user id so we can alert you when a task is assigned to you. The token identifies your device to Apple's Push Notification service, not you personally, and we use it only to deliver Whiteboard notifications. You can turn notifications off at any time in the iOS Settings app; the app remains fully usable without them.
We use the information above to provide Whiteboard's core features: signing you in, syncing your school's board across devices and with the web app, showing who a task is assigned to, notifying you about your own tasks, and troubleshooting issues you report. We do not use your data to serve ads, and we do not sell it.
Tasks, groups, and history are scoped to your school and visible to the coaches and staff signed in under that school; we do not share your school's data with other schools. We use third-party infrastructure providers solely to store and process data on our behalf, under obligations to protect it and never for their own independent purposes: Amazon Web Services for cloud hosting, and Apple's Push Notification service to deliver the notifications described above.
We retain your account and task data for as long as your account is active. Deleting a task in the app removes it from your school's board; the underlying record may be retained for a limited period to support recovery and data integrity, then permanently purged. Notification tokens are retained while they remain valid for delivering your notifications. You can request permanent deletion of your account and its data by contacting us below.
We use industry-standard safeguards — including encrypted network transport, access-controlled cloud infrastructure, and storage of your login token in the iOS Keychain — to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, and we encourage you to use a strong device passcode and keep your login credentials confidential.
You can review, edit, or delete the tasks and groups you've entered at any time from within the app. You can allow or deny notifications from the iOS Settings app. You can sign out from the profile screen, and you may request a copy of your data, or its deletion, by contacting us below.
Whiteboard is intended for use by coaching staff members who are adults. It is not directed at children, accounts are not created by or for children, and the app is not used to store records about student-athletes.
If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
